Spring Hill Cemetery

Spring Hill Cemetery was established in 1860. Prior to this, the community used a cemetery off Beaumont Avenue, known as the Harrodsburg Cemetery, on property given by the Magoffin family.

The old stone vault was built in 1869 by J. O'Toole and served as a temporary tomb during severe weather. A walk through this cemetery is a walk through the history of Harrodsburg and Mercer County.
