In 2006, the Trust was given a small but very important piece of land—the James and Agnes McAfee Cemetery.  Here lie the remains of Pioneer McAfee Family members as well as others whose names can not be determined from their field stone markers.  The cemetery is a work in progress with an ongoing program of brush and debris removal.  Commemorative markers for James and Robert McAfee were placed here by the Sons of the American Revolution in 2007 and 2008.  Also in 2008, the University of Kentucky Archaeological Survey and the Kentucky Heritage Council scanned the cemetery with Ground Penetrating Radar to determine unmarked burial sites.  This will assure that future plans for fencing or archaeological digs will not disturb existing burials.
